Tenax RF1
Tenax designed RF1 as a cheap alternative to metal mesh typically used for concrete crack prevention. The fencing material is the perfect choice for containing concrete used in larger structures like sports arenas, gyms, parking lot access ramps, tracks, and sidewalks.
This bi-oriented net has a MD tensile strength of over 630 pounds per foot and a TD tensile strength of approximately 1165 pounds per foot. The polypropylene polymer has a quandrangular structure and is available in 5 foot and 6.5 foot heights. Also called Crackstop, this mesh is highly flexible, adapts to uneven surfaces, and is easy to lay across a concrete floor. The fencing mesh reinforces existing concrete structures, is resistant to chemical agents, and is unaffected by alkali.
RF1 can be used to reinforce concrete slabs with up to a 6 cm thickness or screeds up to 4 cm. The metal mesh is also ideal for rebuilding and restoring old, instable walls and structures. This mesh is also perfect for manufacturing prefabricated panels, reinforcing stepping stones, and numerous other residential applications.
